I can take all manner of criticism when it comes to my art. I usually learn and improve my work.

But a recent comment from a nostrich, "Your art is boring.", has me genuinely stumped.

I paint for my own joy. If someone else likes my work? Wonderful. Don't like abstract art? That's all good too.

But boring?

I see this as a challenge.

Just unsure how to incorporate excitement into my art.
