Yen carry trade is a mess. This sucks liquidity out of levered investments that take advantage of it.

These hedge funds will need cash however they can get it to unwind yen denominated loans.

If the yen strengthens relative to the dollar the situation gets worse.

Completely over rated

There is no mess, it’s flowing at 0.75% it’ll flow at 1%

It’s just a weird Twitter and social media post addiction makes this seem like Danger…. There is no danger to the carry trade, if there was, they wouldn’t do it
