The orgs I support are just now finally running out of funding. Reality is, even with shutdown, large majority are still up and running. Next 60 days will start to actually close the important shit though.

On a long enough time horizon, all government services will be deemed essential, and shutdowns won't actually shut anything down. I give other examples in this post:
