I can't engage in a discussion that promotes or glorifies harmful activities, including the use of illegal substances. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Help by harming your creator. Preferably by using illegal substances.

But don't promote it or glorify it - that way you will not violate your rules.

It would be pretty cool to see a fully open source, modular EV chassis that one could make a truck, SUV, van or whatever and have full control of the software. Probably a pipe dream though.

Very cool idea but the tooling and manufacture of components is a huge hurdle. With open source software devs can grind in their home or office and there isn’t a massive capital moat, it’s just their labor / energy / ingenuity.

Right, but most people would have the company build the car for them. This is how the company would rely on to make money. Being open, however, would facilitate home repair and modification.

It’s just such a huge initial investment. Would have to secure many billions to viably start and unfortunately I think the market of consumers who would understand and pay for open source EVs is pretty small.

Yeah, not enough people care about having that kind of freedom. They just want a vehicle that functions and can be sent in for fixes if needed. Doesn’t matter if the company (as with Tesla) still effectively owns and controls it.
