Just got mine back up and running after needing to wipe out my OS installation after the apt database b0rked.
How long it took you to sync it up to 99% ?
about 8 hours on a 100mbit line. CPU is a ryzen 7 5000 series. 32gb memory.
Now is a good time to buy 1, or better, 2tb NVMe SSD too.
I remember when it used to take weeks.
I'm running bitcoin core v25.0 that helps too.
I mean, really, it shouldn't take that long, everything up to the most recent checkpoints should just be a download/index, no validation required, once it has the headers to validate the chain up to the checkpoint.
