Linux has been easier to install and much easier maintain for a long time. The Lijux desktop environments have been superior for 10+ years. Yet people still think MS Windows is the way.

I run Linux on at least 5 devices. I'm sold. But your first statement is simply not true.
Omarchy is a great step in that direction and is designed to close the massive gap that exists. The future is bright.
It is true, unless you choose one of the painful Linux distribution. Mint is a breeze. Ubuntu is easy.
I think freedom tech ALREADY wins on the economics principle … at least in the b2b market … for SMBs willing and able to pivot.
As long as “the regulatory capturing” is focused on custodial surveillance tech … freedom tech wins simply by being more affordable to implement and to operate.
