Depends on which Samsung, but good chance there's a LineageOS build available. There aren't really any other OSs as secure as GrapheneOS.
I'm really trying to like the Pixel but the Samsung is better in experience.
Lineage isn't as solid as graphene? I'm pretty ignorant about this stuff why is graphene so good?
They're both old projects. Lineage focuses on basics and wide device compatibility. Graphene focuses on privacy and security.
Cosign on Lineage, but graphene is a tank so I would be slow about giving it up.
To each his own though. Heard good things about /e/OS as well.

A Pinephone. My experiences with all the software have been dysfunctional. The operating systems are buggy at best. It’s possible that a vanilla SIM with native apps would work, but outside of that use case, not great. Your experiences?

I feel the same way about pixel vs Samsung. I still have my Samsung (I use it via WiFi) and it feels so nice 🤙
I'm trying to like it but the UI is better with Samsung
