Literally anything but Google. I'll shout a question out the window in my nightcap like Scrooge before I use Google.

I stopped using duck duck when they announced they were going to downrank results associated with 'Russian disinformation'. No thanks, I'll decide what is noise and what is signal.

Searxng aggregates results from whatever search engines you choose and does not store user data.

Books. Bitcoin podcasts. You can add a bunch in AntennaPod and the search their episodes to find things you're interested in.
Perplexity is also surprisingly balanced.

Both duck duck go and brave have been giving dumbed-down, largely crap results for months now, and getting worse lately.
