Took me several months to honestly enjoy it. It was a bit of a struggle but a we developed client helps a lot.
Damus and Primal seem to be the most widely used clients and each client can be used for different things. Damus is very smooth where Primal has one of the absolute best search features.
Uploading pics may or may not always work but you can always hot link *.jpg, .mp4, ect.. by just slapping in the *.url.
Nostr works more like an elegant version of the old bulletin board systems back in the 90's.
Oh and fixing a simple misspelling or what the hell did I write after a drunken night of shitposting can't really be fixed. Type accordingly and reread the shit out of what you are about to post. I look like retard from time to time because I prematurely hit Post.

On Damus they have a "Universe" category that shows all the feeds in the world using the channels you have selected. It's great for finding people to follow that you have an interest in their content they post.
Myself I don't post much but I enjoy replying because it's more active than passive.
