One of our goals this year from nostr:npub1fpcd25q2zg09rp65fglxuhp0acws5qlphpg88un7mdcskygdvgyqfv4sld is to create a progressive guide to Bitcoin.

A fairly comprehensive framework, but readable by everyday people, progressive lawmakers, and nonprofits/activists, about the various progressive use-cases of Bitcoin.

It’ll cover payments, savings, cross-border payments, financial inclusion, small businesses, poverty reduction, marginalized communities, environment/renewable energy, and more. It’ll focus on the importance of civil liberties and things like bitcoin self-custody, open source development, privacy, and combat the fear mongering around “but terrorists will use it!” and other civil liberties abuses leftover from the patriot act.

We’re hoping this can help drive policy, a change in the narrative, conversion starters for MSM, and more.

It’ll read like a collection of policy briefs, but it applies to lawmakers (public policy) and to everyday people and media (public opinion)
