I really want to patronize coffee companies that accept bitcoin, but the prices always seem extraordinarily high. I expect to pay a little more, but a pound of decent coffee in the US is around $8.25. Here, less than a pound is almost three times as much. Even assuming the quality is much better, the price just seems extremely high.
Discussion
Well, too bad if you don't like the price of my coffee.
I sell quality coffee, not crap.
I'm sure you do. I didn't mean to offend you. It's not just you either. It seems very common among bitcoin coffee companies. You are entitled to make a profit. It just seems very high.
If your president later puts a 50% tariff on Colombia, coffee will be more expensive. And it no longer justifies that I export coffee to the USA.
And specialty coffee is always more expensive.
Yes, speciality coffee is more expensive. The tariffs won't help. The problem is that my family drinks a lot of coffee, and I would rather buy it from a fellow bitcoiner, but I can't afford the prices. I'll keep looking. I wish your business well. I hope OG stackers buy up all your supply. They can afford it!
