Product: Book pages daily notes via automated nostr bot.

A nostr bot pushes a page or two each day of a book.

Day 1: page 1 of a book

Day 2: page 2

..

Day n: page n

100% or close to 100% zaps go to #book author, with some going to dev maintainer of the bot.

Bot uses zap markers that designate author’s npub for zaps (NIP-57).

As an author how does this sound #[1] ?

Does this fit in NIP-57/prisms capability #[2] #[3] #[4] #[5]

so each day a page of the book is posted and people zap that page?

Yes! It could be two pages, ten pages, or a chapter. Up to the author.

This mirrors #[3] V4V pos approach, where listeners can choose to stream per unit (in case of pods every minute) consumed.

If you like the page you can⚡️.

Want to work on this #[2] ? I can put together the product specifications quickly. Will be very simple, and it will add to your nostr app library 😉.

Here’s the Page-a-Day user stories: https://github.com/alltheseas/Page-a-Day

#[1] would this product be useful to you as a book author?

#[1] would you use this nostr product as a published author?

This is a very relevant use case. Very innovative. And it’s really cool for users who have little time on their hand. I think it will find a good user base. Me including!

Looking for a #dev interested in building a bot enabling #v4v daily publication of a book 📖 page or few on nostr.

Notes are zappable, and go to the #book author, and whoever else they choose to send sats to.

In my view, nostr could be a new alternative book demand generation channel that will give the author a chance to interact with readers & vice versa, and possibly drive new book sales!

If we can figure out how to have the world consume 30 second tiktoks, why not a Page-a-Day! Unlike tik-tok this will hopefully stimulate our grey matter 🧠.

#[2] want to help build this??

#[2] interested in building this?

Make me think of: “The Count of Monte Cristo was originally published in the Journal des Débats in eighteen parts.”

Interesting idea. I need to read up on NIP57 and if that looks sound I may implement something like this later in the year for an author when i free up some time (likely June/July)
