Why is it so freaking common for coffee shops to have the most disgusting coffees?

Seriously, I know a coffee shop usually is not about the coffee per se, but shouldn’t they cover that as a basic?

100% agree technique and mindfulness is important when making coffee correctly, but the bean, grind, and brew are also a lot about personal preferences
