There's two sides to it.. privacy and tech,

People who work in tech, usually use Linux, but keep a regular surveillance phone

People who are into privacy/crypto, usually get a degoogled phone first, but view Linux as too much hassle

But if you only got one and not the other, when your phone and PC sync instant message convos, it's irrelevant which half you're missing.

Started with Linux around 2017, GrapheneOS in 2019 (tried Lineage before that).

Arch Linux and Graphene OS with no Google Play services here.

Windows for work only and on an isolated vlan so that it doesn't touch my personal network.

I use both, though I have a slave tablet I use (iPad 10th Gen) that is locked down as best as I can get it.

No sensitive data is on that as far as I'm aware, and I'm sure I got all of that out.
