I wouldn't want it even if someone offered me a brand new fancy pants one. there are actually many good things going on in the world, but you're spot on - the news isn't meant to report them. back when i was in HS, i was like, "why isnt there ever anything positive and uplifting on the news?" it took about 20 years to figure out why.
