Yes! Dune is my favorite sci fi story as well. The original frank herbert books are super good. Some of the brian herbert books are still interesting but the writing is not on the same level. When people ask me about sci fi reccomendations, i start with dune.

Good to coincide to you, man. During I wasn’t checking nostr, I had been reading more on the subway. I read 171 pages and it made me addicted.

I consumed lots of sci-fi themed books, comics, movies & series yet none of them affected me in this way. I think I fascinated by the subtext of the novel than the actual plot.
