Do you think everything happens for a reason?

Is everything that happens meant to happen?

Or do you think we tell ourselves these things to make ourselves feel better?

I would say all three are correct.

This gives a meaning and an explanation to so many things that logic cannot explain.

And it grants the power to accept what we cannot understand/change.
