Replying to Avatar HODL

Part of me wants to check the fuck out of all the chaos and just opt for the simple life, but then I think being asleep at the wheel was how we got into this mess in the first place.

Nostr seems to be a happy middle ground between these thoughts.

i don't think choosing a simple life is being asleep at the wheel. i see it as an act of defiance and that you can see through their means to control and not want any part of it.

simple servants change history in longer lasting and better ways than self aggrandizing heroes.

history books only tell stories about the _heroes_. they need it to continue the cycle. little is written about the people who lived through the tyranny of control, unscathed.
