A bot's superpower is that it can send a million messages at near zero cost, over and over.

If we associate a very small fee, maybe a few sats, to receive a message from an account we do not follow, spam dies.

Associate a much higher cost to receive a message with certain words, and you eliminate the hate speech spam.

This is how the internet's spam problem will be solved, and it'll seem so obvious in retrospect.

You can make an AI that'll make 1,000,000 more spam accounts, but if each one needs $10+ to reach 1,000 people, well, their business model breaks.
