3 years ago I was fined 20eur for not wearing a mask on the street in my hometown. The policemen gave me the option of putting on a mask instead. I said no way I rather pay the fine.

Always think for yourself and don't let public servants dictate what you should do!

The strangest thing for me is not the parable, but that the fine looks like an old train or cinema ticket.

Your country is all over the news at the moment. Any inside information?

The prime minister is against the WHO pandemic treaty and for peace in Ukraine. Other than that he is also a corrupt politician.

A strange combination.

I have evolved my opinion of corruption recently.

Better an openly corrupt individual or organisation (such as the mafia) than a group with perceived high morality who actually do amoral acts behind the scenes.

i.e. Honest corruption above dishonest corruption.

Agreed though I think the ultimate goal is to find real leaders who understand this: I=everything, because if they do they will not try to deceive others as there are no others.
