I tried the Canada Post payment option today, what a great no KYC option for Canadians! nostr:npub1gl23nnfmlewvvuz7xgrrauuexx2xj70whdf5yhd47tj0r8p68t6sww70gt has a great service. A nice side effect is this will serve a lot of rural communities with a bitcoin onramp, Canada Post locations are everywhere.

So did you just walk up to the counter and show a QR code? Then hand over cash? Is that how it works? Excited to try.

Yes. This exactly 😃

Amazing! And they didnt need any other info related to KYC from you?

None. Just email and name, no id or anything. Bitcoin or lightning too!

My next #BTC purchase will be this way. This changes everything. No more hunting for no KYC BTC ATMs! 🙌

Paying at Canada Post loads your Bull account, you can then go online and buy BTC there.

All you need is a Bull account with an email and name, don't give phone number or address. - those fields are there for higher levels of verification but not needed for this under $1000.

The QR from your Bull account page is always the same, I made a paper copy and took that to Post Office for first try.

This is awesome for people in small communities and is cheaper than buying at non KYC ATMs!

Oh nice so like buying credit for BullBitcoin then buying the BTC there. Can it be sent to my wallet right away after purchasing on Bull?

As far as I know yes, there is a $100 mininmum.

Buying minimum or withdrawal minimum?

Buying minimum is $10, withdrawal minimum is $100.

Proper terminology at Canada Post is a Loadhub Payment but don't be surprised if they don't know what it is.....just get them to shoot their gun on your QR and tell them how much you want to pay.

Thanks for the clarification. Cant wait to try!

I did a $20 CAD test buy.

💯

Interested to hear the true spread from market of this option. If I understand correctly you pay a fee to BB and a fee to CP, then once the money is in your account you buy but the price is not true market there is a spread similar to a currency exchange.

I'm still working, I'll figure it out when I've got some time.

Legend

I just queued up a $10 transaction. They took about $0.22, I would receive $9.78 worth of bitcoin, a 2% cut, not too bad. The Canada Post transaction costs $3.50 from $1-500, 3.95 for $500-1000. Reasonable for a KYC free option that can do $999 per transaction, and 10 per day!

Yea it seems pretty good overall. Thanks for testing!

I grabbed another $80 CAD via lightning, I ended up with ~$79 in my WoS.
