Who's your favourite Spice Girl?

We'll get to Rosie in a minute. First... The Spice Girls were a famous all-girl pop band from Britain in the 90s who became cultural icons.

They had a slogan of "Girl Power" which was mostly an empty gesture but nevertheless had lasting power.

Watching one of their music videos prompted my curiosity about the various waves of feminism and the Rosie the Riviter iconography.

Women in Canada couldn't have an individual bank account until when?

It took more than 20 years after the Rosie poster was popularized as an ad campaign for women to work in industry while many men were a part of the war effort in WW2.

It took twenty years and a War created by men... for women to be able to access banking independently.

Bitcoin, by design, purposefully, is a low barrier and highly equitable system of digital savings and money.

Rosie would have been, 100%, a Bitcoiner.
