Basic privacy

If you want to hide your ip for whatever reason, either because you are a political activist or because you want to take your privacy to the extreme, start with the base layer.

Don't use your isp connection, use a neighbor's isp connection or a public site like a library. You can use directional wifi antennas that receive wifi signals more than 1 km away, so you can use an unknown neighbor's connection, most home routers are easy to hack.

However, use tor, i2p or a vpn, although I like this last option less.

Don't use your everyday operating system, as it has many traces that can identify you, especially the browser, use a clean system through a virtual machine, live cd or Qubes.

Most routers are easy to hack because most people don't reconfigure basic adminpw and routersnames? Or are there more easy tricks

Basically because isps don't give a shit about security and usually offer router models with known vulnerabilities.

This is my favorite distribution for hacking wifis, it incorporates a lot of utilities and exploits for known routers.
