Yup, that's nothing new, been like that for years, & years... if you are slightly above what the Canadian or SOME provincial Governments considers an "average income" the government will make more money off of you then you make yourself from your labour.

Now however probay due to inflation & slower rising incomes it's starting to be seen by more people.

When you're poor, you want Rich People's stuff
