Ukrainian people should be allowed to vote. To believe that we know better than the Ukrainian people is such an interesting perspective to me. To see a president cancel elections and silence the voice of his people because of war is a 🚩. I ask my liberal friends about this and they said since they are at war it is OK. Then I ask what if Mexico attacked California and Trump cancelled elections….”dictator”. What if was Biden and they attacked Texas….”great leader”.

It is unconstitutional to hold elections during a martial law in the country. Everything is legal. Not only that, the recent unanimous vote in the Ukrainian parliament confirmed the full legitimacy of the UA president.

Point taken. This is why I try to stay out of what I don’t fully understand. I can’t have a strong stance when I have no skin in the game and am reliant on what I am able to learn on the internet from the other side of the world. Are you Ukrainian? Not picking a fight truly curious.
