Someone tell the CEO of #nostr they missed the Congressional meeting this afternoon about protecting young people from the treacherous landscape of the social media jungle. The victims of bullying, blackmail and abuse have my fullest sympathy.

BUT…

The digital IDs are coming. And it will be hailed in under the flag of protecting the children like it’s done all the time. This could make a difference in protecting young people from emotional trauma however it will mean regulated internet access for EVERYONE. Plus adults fucking bully too.

I want a free and open internet in the hands of the people. Fuck the algorithms. Opensource everything. Healthy social media for the masses.
