Tell me you know nothing about nostr, without telling me.

Nostr is a great tool for privacy. It enables encryption on a massive scale, it is essentially PGP on steroids, but sure, trust the influencers and stick to your FIAT solutions.

Nostr knows where I live and how much Bitcoin I have. It also knows my entire schedule and where I go. It knows my whole internet browsing history and my online purchase history. It knows what I think and believe and hold dear.

Zero privacy, dunno why I even use it. Gotta de-nostr and use the next decentralized comms protocol.

This take misses the whole point. Nostr isn’t about encryption, it’s about decentralized identity and global censorship resistance. Encryption is a side feature (and kind of janky right now). It’s not a privacy tool, it’s a public protocol.

Lol. Nostr is whatever you want it to be. For those that need it to be a privacy tool. It works, right now, wether you like it or not.

Also why can't it be a public protocol AND a privacy tool? That's exactly what TOR is, what is this artificial mutual exclusivity you're building up?

but anyways, what do I know, I've not been slaving away at this protocol and it's privacy aspects for years now.

Haha. I hear you

Half my friends on nostr are nyms that I’ll never meet irl. Idk their real names or how much bitcoin they have.
