I always wondered as a kid, does the democracy actually function as they show to people, when lying or ignoring the chosen consensus system of the people (which I also saw through as being problematic) is so easy to do?

I was an unusually intelligent kid. At least that's what everybody told me. I was smarter than most adults. And more curious.
