dang. you have some massive plants for it only being April.

Don’t worry, Texas summer will try to kill them soon. Trying shade cloth this year, hopefully that helps.

do you have problems with powdery or downy mildew?

Nope, hasn’t been too wet, cucumbers have grown extremely well - Houston area. I used to live around Seattle and a much harder time growing them.
