Five years later, he gets distracted & gifts some Bitcoin to his date from this address. The date goes home & sends the Bitcoin to Coinbase to sell it. Chainalysis connects him to the crime & the date identifies him to law enforcement. The mercenaries also follow the blockchain & see his stash.
