This BELL was considered one of the main attractions at the SESQUICENTENNIAL INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION Philadelphia 1926 the sequal to the Centennial Exhibition of 1876.

An 80ft replica of the LIBERTY BELL comprising of 97 tons of steel, 35K feet of lumber.

The BELL itself, 'covered in sheet metal and bronze coloured plaster' and costing 1.2million in todays money, it's claimed the bell was scrapped for $60 14 months later after the failure of the Exhibition.....
