Why would I comment on his note when there are obviously other people who think that? Iโ€™m addressing everyone in bulk. Forgive me for not following your social etiquette. Someone should post the rules somewhere ๐Ÿคฃ

My suspicion of people who attack โ€œair repliesโ€ that are actually fully formed standalone posts is they are intimidated when your thoughts donโ€™t stay buried deep in a thread.

This too. Replies get very limited views.

There is that button

Iโ€™m some cultures itโ€™s actually considered rude to call people out. I didnโ€™t want to single out one person because there are more than one who bring this up here and there. But if corn wants to be singled out every time, by all means Iโ€™ll do it. And Iโ€™ll quote your notes from now on if youโ€™d like that.

Sure! Thatโ€™s how the man does!

Have it your way ๐Ÿซก

Yes, that works well for a reply. But if you have more to say and want to make something fleshed out that isnโ€™t literally a reply, but a thought you are having in whole or part because of a conversation, itโ€™s legitimate to make a standalone post.
