the fans of being just everyday users of nostr have mostly gone away and the bigger portion of the devs to stay

there's less new ideas/thoughts/convos, because nostr is not in its initial stage anymore + there's no new blood that has come in

just my observations

interesting observation. haven’t thought about it in this way. how can we get back to that stage so people will come?

i guess time is one thing. nostr is still early

some sort of an external catalyst likely, but even so, i see the same cycle happening as we have already, just with new people and bit of variety to the past

also i think that because nostr has such a small bubble of "bigger creators" who get most of the airtime, then nostriches have just gotten kind of tired of each other.

some (like myself) take hiatuses and return once in a while

others have spun of to groups on telegram and/or signal, and taken to other kinds of projects

some just left until further notice

you probably right. i guess when there was fewer people and less echochambers (or whatever its called) it was easier to find people and hold longer (and funnier) random, controversial conversations

yeah, i just come here at times to talk to people who i wouldn't get to talk to elsewhere

i treat it as a niche forum or a huge groupchat, with really elaborate functionality

lol true

We need devs that want user growth instead of devs that want to get paid by OpenSats for suppressing user growth

even serious devs have left to a large extent, what remains is influencers, people that want to consume exclusively bitcoin slop, wannabe devs and people solely here to keep in touch with a few people

doubt anyone's here to consume bitcoin slop

how many bitcoin podcasts and price posts do you really need

I'm in the wannabe dev category. What about you?
