It's a good time to become familiar with RoboSats.

Did two trades today.

allegedly

I love robosats

RoboSats is great but there is no good payment method in my opinion

I agree. With Strike being the dominant payment method, why wouldn't I just use Strike to pay to an address I already own?

Is strike in the us not full kyc?

Or pay to a fedimint / ecash / lng wallet. It just shows up as a β€œ$ spend” on your statement

At least you know your p2p lightning transactions are properly KYC'd πŸ˜‚

I've done some small amount trades (50-100 euros) with prepaid Amazon giftcards. I often ended up paying between 10-12% premium on the bitcoin price at the time of the trade, but for non-kyc sats I didn't really mind...

physical prepaid? or amazon mailed prepaid?

Physical prepaid

this procedure is actually not recommended (thats why I asked)

https://learn.robosats.com/docs/payment-methods/#amazon-egift-cards

I know. But the other option involves a level of doxxing that I'm not willing to go to...

Thanks for the sats! Also: followed!

thats true, thats why im concerned about payment methods πŸ˜…

That's a heck of a premium. I don't know if I'd be okay with that. I don't mind 3-5%.

I was worried as well when I bought with robosats for the first time. If I'm not mistaken I think I got the sats for a price of app. 24.000 USD/btc πŸ˜‰

Bisq as well.

I find Bisq very hard to use.

It takes some getting used to.

The one aspect of Bisq and RoboSats that I don't like is that it's hard to do a smash buy of a certain amount.

You can sort of do a smash buy by taking an offer, but then the wait for the other party to send it is a crapshoot that can be anywhere from instant to 4 days later.

illeeeeeeegal!!! reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

is it still non-kyc if you buy on robosats using cash app or strike?

Strike or Cash app won't know what you bought, only that you sent someone money form something.

Is there a send limit? Or an amount that would get flagged?

does strike expose your full name to the seller like revolut?
