Joyful, pretty. Also one step closer to QR code integration heh

Do you need a QR code?! :)

I thought about it, you might remember discussing it here some time. You accurately said that this would make the rug completely individual dependent, bespoke.

I have yet to come to further conclusions, imagine though someone finding a rug decades, or even a century later, and, assuming the code standard survives, could obtain anything from a text message to a public key to remote, online resources. The technologies could disappear before the rug, I think concept like QR encoding BECH32 addresses have more longevity than other formats.

Yep. I remembered

About getting a rug, it would make sense for me if I should get the chance to build a home from the ground up, where I could integrate it with the architecture. In my mind the hard manual work going into a rug deserves architectural consideration.

One particular photo of nomad tents with rug flooring pretty frequently posted on legacy networks has kept inspiring me about this.

Search for “Qashqai tribal tent” or “Qashqai nomadic tent” and you’ll find colorful handmade rugs inside. Today, this beautiful tradition has turned into a form of tourism.

Thank you for giving this context and a name.

It only occurred to me after first seeing that photo that rugs have a critical functional use directly on natural ground. I only knew and perceived them as expendable decorations on already artificial floors.
