One of my clients insisted on using GoDaddy as their hosting and web builder rather than letting me build it from scratch. I've been on the phone for hours between yesterday and today just to get someone to tell me how to change the og:image meta tag...

I know the CEO of GoDaddy. I used to work for him at Expedia. I like the guy a lot. That said I’m at a point in my career where if I was told that I’d simply refused to do business with the entity. Life is too short and the GD platform is crap.

That's cool. I often forget that people are behind products. I usually build the websites myself and thus have 100% control over what it can do and looks like. Ultimately, after almost 24 hours of dealing with live reps who were trying to get me to push buttons that didnt exist, they finally told me that changing the og:image to be something other than the hero header was impossible. So basically, I will never let a client recommend a web builder ever again.
