Most miners run at a loss, because anyone who sees an opportunity can compete with them. Once your paying Bitcoin for WiFi, anyone who sees an opportunity can deliver a better service to you.

Exactly, it is now easy for you to be the ISP who undercuts the cartel and delivers a cheaper + better service. They can try to stop you, but they can't stop all of us. It's a game of whack a mole again 😀
