Taxes should be voluntary, but if you don't pay them then you get zero access to public services and you also don't get to vote.

Some people will choose this and that's fine. Everyone should have a right to opt out, but it goes both ways.

If you want to participate in civilization then you must contribute to civilization. No freeloaders.
