I personally draw the line at when something is significantly better, but offers no downside or has no technical difficulty compared to the original. And it is through doing this upgrades without harm, that society evolves.
So Brave Browser by default even on Linux very clearly gives a huge number of fingerprint identifiers, and the vast number of people will be unable to configure the complex settings. While as HydraVeil is EASIER than Brave's settings to configure, it's just pushing a button on a GUI.
