I've been taking Moringa powder (home grown, dried & ground) in the morning with some fruit honey & Greek yoghurt.

Initially I was using too much & it made me feel sick in my stomach, so I cut back on my coffee.

I eventually halved how much Moringa I took & my stomach settled down.

I find the Moringa gives me great energy & so haven't been having that second coffee.

Might drop coffee entirely soon but we'll see. I really enjoy having a coffee while scrolling Nostr.

Interesting. I hadn’t heard of Moringa before. I’ll have to look into it.

I’ve stopped taking most supplements that I had been using for the moment as I’m trying to figure out what actually makes a difference. I feel my energy levels have dropped a little but I’m not sure yet if that is from cutting back on caffeine, cutting the other supplements, or just tiredness from some late nights of work.

I have also considered trying to drop coffee completely but I do enjoy having a coffee and I would probably just end up substituting for some other type of drink which isn’t necessarily that helpful.

Moringa is a plant that has lots of vitamins and antioxidants. They use it to combat malnutrition in poor places because it grows easily.

I haven't eaten vegetables for about 5 years but started eating this 2 weeks ago. I planted a tree about 7 years ago but never ate much of it because it didn't taste very nice. I took cuttings and planted them in my Syntropic rows for chop & drop mulch but I'm now experimenting with taking it.

It's taken by westerners for it's anti-inflammatory properties. Good for arthritis & skin health apparently. It looks like it was part of some multilevel marketing scheme so there's lots of hype around it.

It has a peppery taste like mustard greens. It costs me zero to take it & I felt guided to it. Going to keep growing it & taking it to see what happens. I do feel like it makes me more alert & gives a me bit of energy throughout the day.

Very interesting, thanks! I might have to experiment with that one myself at some point.
