the day after the film premiere

the public transit home by myself

he texted his grandfather died

he called him Poppy

i said something to the effect of: yea well me too

as in: i am also dead to you

i might as well be dead to you

you do not speak to me except in extraordinary circumstance because you are not allowed to do so because your girlfriend said you are not allowed to do so and you agreed

nothing does

he lost his grandfather

i lost my ex boyfriend's grandfather

it simply doesnt even compare

not even in the same universe of pain
