Oof, not sure what my opinion on this is.
This is way worse than what Udi, Nic Carter, Breedlove, Dan Held, Pomp, etc have done and they're on Bitcoiners' shit list.
Why does he get a pass?
What did Dan Held do. I have him on linked in. I am not always current with the news. No matter what article comes out, yay or nay. I will always buy Bitcoin
He doesn't really add anything to the space anymore and is known for stealing memes/tweets. Just someone that thinks they are important and isn't. Recently seen at an ordinals conference.
Nothing as bad as violating EVERYONE'S privacy.
Did people use twitter DMs thinking it was encrypted?
Not great, but not exactly surprising.
Jack has owned a lot of mistakes and is actively working towards making Bitcoin better - I suspect that's why he's generally given the benefit of the doubt. Hardly the same thing as Udi 😅

They shouldn't have assumed they were encrypted.
But between state access to DMs, COVID censorship, and whatever other narrative suppression/magnifying he may have allowed to happen or authorized, I see no reason to like the guy despite being pro-bitcoin or funding Nostr development.
I think he'd probably agree with most of the criticism. My understanding is that he had a pretty small % of shares, and was constantly blocked by his board. Sounds like this is the main reason he left because he was completely impotent on these issues.
I'd be harder on Elon since he only has his dog to report to 🙃
Bitcoiners will be hard on Elon until he changes his profile back to #Bitcoin.
