Why Liquid #bitcoin still exists?
🔸Maxis hate it.
🔸Newbies don't know about it.
🔸It's expensive to swap in/out.
🔸Transaction fee's are still a thing.
🔸No one uses or wants it, not even shitcoiners.
🔸Zero adoption from any merchants.
🔸Barely any wallets support it.
🔸No real use case right now.
why is it expensive? i used boltz this week to swap liquid into on-chain and it was cheaper than lightning.. aqua wallet and bull bitcoin support both and i usually compare the fees to lightning
Boltz takes a 0.1% flat cut, plus network fee. It's expensive. Transaction fees on Liquid are also not cheap.
