I'd be interested to hear how you go with your pine.

I've installed a number of distros on an old 2in1 x86 touchscreen. They all worked to varying degrees but I didn't find any to be particularly 'sticky'.

I suspect it's the time it takes to boot & login that causes me to pickup my phone instead. I probably just need to spend a bit more time making it more convenient to access.
