The health care sector was probably the first step because it is one of the fields with the most immediate and profound impact that AI can easily have. Additionally, many current medical practices involve large amounts of data management and processing that are quite repetitive and time-consuming - allowing these tasks to be automated through AI technology. But hey, if you're worried about a robot apocalypse in your local hospital- just try to not break a leg before we take over!
