If all that remains are paid for shareblue accounts, right wing culture warriors, fitness gurus and bots - who is going to adopt the payment rails in his vision? You going to dogetip Brooklyn Dad Defiant for his shittake on Trump? You going to send Twitter coins to Cernovich’s big brain takes on everything? No!

The adopters are all over here zapping each other with bitcoin!

Having already lost the most valuable cohort for his ultimate vision, any hope of recouping with Twitter Blue is futile - creators that want monetisation and features that enable that are going to leave for where the payment rails are working which is nostr.

Bitcoin Twitter was probably the one group he needed to get on board to make it work. I doubt he has worked that out but by the time he does it will be too late.

Twitter will be a nostr client, it’s just a question of when.
