Dealing with that myself. Seems like I can solve this by using a profile in GrapheneOS for work that uses a sandboxed Google services for the apps I need. Not sure how practical it is to keep switching user profiles tho. Just doing trial & error seeing what works, what breaks, workarounds, etc. Good luck on that. Hope u make the full transition to FOSS.
