The skies speak to me. Each seen for a second as i live providing back drops to my life, they are silent but bring volume
Hi my friends ๐ซ๐จ๐งก
I need to tell you something I haven't said clearly before.

For months now, I've been working on something larger than individual paintings.
A project in four movements:

SILENCE AMONG THE CLOUDS โ๏ธ โ complete (4 paintings)

SILENCE AMONG THE FLOWERS ๐ธ โ complete (4 paintings)

SILENCE AMONG THE WAVES ๐ โ just completed (4 paintings)

SILENCE AMONG THE SILENCES ๐ฒ โ coming (4 paintings)
16 paintings. 4 quartets. One question that keeps evolving:
*What does silence look like?*
I started with clouds โ the silence of things that drift and dissolve.
Then flowers โ the silence of fragility, of bloom and fade.
Now waves โ the silence that remains beneath restless motion.
And finally, silences โ plural, abstract, unbound.
The first three quartets are 20ร20cm. Contained. Held in a square frame.
But the last quartet breaks free: **20ร25cm**.
Because when you strip away clouds, flowers, waves โ when you're left with silence facing silence โ the square can no longer hold it.
It needs to rise...
This is what I'm building.
This is the my cathedral. ๐ฒ
Now you have the whole structure.
Now you know where it's going. ๐ฒ

The skies as backdrops to your life โ I love that.
That's exactly what I was trying to capture. Not the sky itself, but what it does to the space around us. The volume in silence.
Sounds like CLOUDS might be your movement.
