So to explain it in simple words Lbtc is basically just a privacy coin.. so btc is not private and they made this side chain so ppl can transact and not be traced that's what basically is liquid bitcoin

So isn’t the LN the same ?

I heard about Stax, some second layer of btc, so I thought it is the same as a Lightning Network 🤔

It's not. Lightning is a second layer on btc.. liquid btc is not you need to convert btc to LBTC to use..

That's what I'm getting. Liquid Bitcoin is a distinct crypto currency and is not in any way redeemable for Bitcoin without incurring transaction fees and using an exchange?
