When the colonizers arrived in the United States some people were going to keep going across the country until they couldn’t go anymore. You truly had to be special to survive that trek on foot or horse back in the 1600’s from the east coast to California and some eventually went all the way up to Alaska. The people that were less capable gave up on their journey when the going got too tough for them. Those people that didn’t have what it takes intellectually or physically settled in places like Kansas, Texas, Kentucky. They are settlers which is a nice name for quitters. You had to be a complete badass to make it all the way across the country without getting killed.

The funny thing to me is government overreach continued to drive these people. They just wanted to be left to their own rules with no one telling them that to do. Now California is the ultimate government overreach state.

Fake news.

Which part?

The whole thing

I mean...I used to live in southern California. Government there is atrocious and gives away free money. But I'm so glad you backed up your statement
